Our take
The Pioneer DDJ-REV7 is a beast for scratch DJs. The 16 pads give me plenty of options for hot cues and samples, and the jog wheel illumination is a nice touch for dark clubs. The XLR outputs ensure clean sound to the PA. I love the built-in loop/sampler and delay effects. However, the price is steep, and the controller is quite large for transport. The lack of a dedicated filter knob is a minor downside. Overall, it's a top-tier scratch controller for professionals.
